Welcome From Master Trang Tran

Master Trang Tran began training in 1998. He started teaching in 1999. He now owns and opperates Than Phong Taekwondo-The Planet Martial Arts in Lansing. He has taken great care to teach a complete self defence program that is designed to accomodate everyones unique abilities. He teaches a regimented class that encourages discipline but also keeps it fun and interesting. He has trained in Hapkido with Master Randy Lumber 7 DAN. He is also trained Taekwondo with Grand Master Victor Duc Phan 9th DAN, the President of the Planet Martial Arts Federation. He is always looking for the best of the martial arts to bring into his teachings. He excells in kicking and take down maneuvers. He also enjoys teaching escrima or stick fighting. He loves teaching kids and workout with the adults. He feels that the martial arts is a benefit for all to enjoy.
